Fox River Clean-up Day

September 18, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

n/c

From the headwaters of the Fox River just west of Milwaukee, WI to the conjunction with the Illinois River near Ottawa IL, non profit groups will mobilize an army of volunteers to remove trash and debris from the river and river bank.  This annual event has removed hundreds of pounds of trash from our precious Fox River to the benefit of many communities and all of the wildlife in this ecosystem.  The Conservation Foundation, the St. Charles Park District and the River Corridor Foundation of St. Charles coordinate the clean-up effort along the entire St. Charles segment of the Fox River.  Volunteers needed to pre-register and/or report to Ferson Creek Park in St. Charles at 9:00 AM on Saturday, September 18, 2021.  Picking tools and plastic trash bags provided.  Volunteers to wear gloves and appropriate clothing.  Waivers required – register on-line if possible at
