$375,000 of a $750,000 Challenge Grant

As of May 2015, the Dunham Fund has matched $375,000 of a $1 for $1 challenge grant to the Association for Individual Development that was awarded on September 1, 2014. This challenge grant matches funds raised by AID up to $750,000 over a three year period for its “Investing today, Ensuring tomorrow” campaign. The Dunham Fund is the lead donor for this $2M campaign intended to create new and preserve existing support services and facilities to meet the needs of the growing adult population with disabilities in Kane and Kendall counties.

Wayside Cross Ministries

This grant was approved through the Dunham Foundation’s Ready for the Future RFP Grant and supports Wayside Cross Ministries’ Urban Youth Ministries (UYM) Program. The UYM program provides tutoring and mentoring support to Aurora-area students during the school year and summer programming. UYM will also engage other partners through this funding to broaden tutoring and programming offers for their students.
