The Dunham Fund is proud to support Cal’s All Star Angel Foundation Inc.’s work to cure childhood cancer. Cal’s All Star Angel Foundation is supporting the development of clinical trials with Lurie’s Children’s Hospital and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine to initiate a drug discovery program for the repurposing over 900 existing drug compounds for adults with cancer to dosages appropriate for children and of new medications.
The goal of these trials is to speed development of less toxic and more effective therapies for pediatric cancer in a more cost effective and efficient way.
The Dunham Fund’s $25,000 grant will help Cal’s All Star Angel Foundation conduct testing across Chicagoland hospitals and perform clinical trials that have the potential to save lives and help childhood cancer patients all over the world.
