Fox Valley Park Foundation

The Fox Valley Park Foundation has been raising money for children in need in the Fox Valley area through the annual Golf For Kids outing at Orchard Valley Golf Course over the past 24 years. The Dunham Fund is the presenting sponsor of the 2018 Golf For Kids event, held on June 25th 2018, which raises money and awareness to help the Fox Valley Park Foundation deliver life-changing opportunities to children in the community who need it the most.

This grant from The Dunham Fund directly helps Fox Valley Park Foundation open a world of new experiences for children who are underserved in the community. This includes programs foster essential childhood activities like learning to swim, attending camps, playing organized sports, taking field trips, performing on stage, exploring nature, and more.

This grant was approved through the Dunham Foundation’s Ready for the Future RFP Grant and supports Wayside Cross Ministries’ Urban Youth Ministries (UYM) Program. The UYM program provides tutoring and mentoring support to Aurora-area students during the school year and summer programming. UYM will also engage other partners through this funding to broaden tutoring and programming offers for their students.
