Giant Steps

Giant Steps’ Canopy at Rich Harvest Farms program seeks to provide suitable assistance to help adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder live as independently as possible. This program will help prepare adults for a independent life, regardless of their functional level, and will also serve as a national model for similar programs seeking to meet this need.

Dunham Fund is supporting Giant Steps’ launch with a $100,000 grant. This grant will help develop an innovative proof-of-concept model for programs to serve adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This proof-of-concept will be based on practical, scaleable, and evidence based research to provide a blueprint to scale a program to serve adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder around the nation.

Wayside Cross Ministries

This grant was approved through the Dunham Foundation’s Ready for the Future RFP Grant and supports Wayside Cross Ministries’ Urban Youth Ministries (UYM) Program. The UYM program provides tutoring and mentoring support to Aurora-area students during the school year and summer programming. UYM will also engage other partners through this funding to broaden tutoring and programming offers for their students.
