With implementation of the Urban Youth Education and Empowerment Program (UYEEP), the Quad County Urban League seeks to provide youth and young adults the opportunity and support necessary to be successful in school and life.
Aligning its goals with East Aurora School District #131, the mission targets young adults (ages 16-21) in high school or on the verge of dropping out with a tailored education and workforce curriculum that builds interests and skills toward attainment of a high school diploma, links to community support systems to overcome barriers to success, brings exposure to stipend-paying, real world opportunities to gain workplace skills and presents the opportunity to build relationships with positive, caring adults.
