The Dunham Fund is proud to support Rosary High School’s Women in STEM Project over the next two years. This grant will provide a total of $250,000 over 2019 and 2020 to help update 5 classrooms and 2 preprooms in Rosary’s STEM wing. This matching grant will help supply new learning space, new equipment, and updated technology to help meet the rising needs for women in STEM fields.
As of 2018, women hold less than 25% of all jobs in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics field, despite women making up almost half of the workforce. Rosary’s Women in STEM Project is addressing the need for more women in STEM head-on through these facility updates and ongoing advocacy.
