This grant supported the Rotary Club of Aurora’s Festival of Lights at Phillips Park during the 2019 Holiday Season. This marked the 13th season of the festival, where the Rotary Club provides hundreds of volunteer hours, supported by technical and logistical assistance of City of Aurora staff to more than 29,000 individuals who drive through the festival each year from November 25th to December 26th.
Proceeds from the festival entrance fees are given back to the community in the form of grants to local nonprofit organizations that help disadvantaged youth, the homeless and the hungry.
