Over the past year, Serenity House has provided comprehensive outpatient and residential treatment services to more than 420 men and women battling various forms of addiction. Serenity House not only assists those in the recovery process but continues to provide support to its graduates to remain addiction free. A primary focus of recovery is re-establishing residents as productive members of the work force while they work through the process.
The Dunham Fund grant supports Serenity House’s 32nd anniversary gala event, which will serve to raise funds and help meet the shortfalls that have occurred due to the many financial challenges the state of Illinois has experienced.
