In 2015, Serenity House provided outpatient and residential treatment services for over 420 men and women in Illinois battling many forms of addiction. In order to receive treatment, Serenity House residents must be in a recovery program, be employed, and be able to pay rent. The residents maintain the home and cooperatively share household duties until they can relocate to their own independent living arrangements. Follow-up support is provided to program graduates to help them remain addiction-free.
Dunham Fund supported further expansion of the addiction treatment program with a $5,000 sponsorship for the agency’s 30th Anniversary Gala.
