Based on its 2016 success, Simply Destinee will expand its street art project to “Shine the Light on Suicide” with support from a Dunham Fund grant. This campaign is designed to raise community awareness through outreach efforts to other organizations and schools to participate. Playing off Aurora’s “City of Lights” recognition, organizers and artists devise creative ways to bring light to the message, focusing on downtown Aurora and other public locations throughout the area.
