Wayside Cross Ministries – Lifespring Ministry

Wayside Cross Ministries is dedicated to helping the impoverished, addicted, abused, at-risk, and imprisoned as they recover and work to rebuild their lives.

Wayside has a residential recovery program for men and a shelter for women and children, run programs for at-risk youth, and run workforce development programs for residents.

This grant from the Dunham Fund will support Wayside Cross Ministries’ Lifespring Ministries, recovery, and long-term transitional living program that offers safe shelter for women and children who have lost their housing due to addiction, abuse or financial crisis.

This grant was approved through the Dunham Foundation’s Ready for the Future RFP Grant and supports Wayside Cross Ministries’ Urban Youth Ministries (UYM) Program. The UYM program provides tutoring and mentoring support to Aurora-area students during the school year and summer programming. UYM will also engage other partners through this funding to broaden tutoring and programming offers for their students.
